THE ANTIBODY IN NASAL ALLERGY

Abstract

|
|
Nasal allergy is one of most frequent, representative respiratory allergy worldwide. In Korea the number of the patients with nasal allergy occupies second ranking among all kinds of allergic disease following bronchial asthma.
In this paper the introduction on the antibodies of nasal allergy is given. The mention is refered to general character of immunoglobulins at first, and thereafter alluded to the antibody of nasal allergy (immunochemical properties, other feature of nasal allergy, the antibody in allergic serum exept reagin, the antibody contained in nasal discharge, the immunoglobulin contained in the nasal discharge of the patients with nasal allerge, the immunoglobulin contained in the nasal discharge treated with gel-immunoelectrophoresis, the quantitation by gel-diffusion and by immunoplate, and the antibody in the bodyfluids exept serum, nasal discharge) and the antibody-producing site in nasal allergy (concept of the mechanism in antibody production, antibody-producing cell, production of the antibody of nasal allergy).
